All right, so, I rewatched it on my own this morning, and my thoughts are a little clearer now. I didn't come away from it feeling quite the same as I did yesterday. The first time, I'd felt like my brain had been squished from the crack, so watching it again to wrap my head around it helped a lot. However, having said that, this is by far not at all my favorite episode. In fact I think I'd place it down there as 3rd place on my list of Least Favorite Episodes, right after The Voyage of the Damned and Planet of the Dead.


( But here are my thoughts on some key points. )

I really shouldn't post anything until I sit down on my own and watch this episode a second time, but I'm gonna just say a few things until then 'cause I can't resist. So here we go, in bullet points, my main three thoughts throughout the ep:

• What the heck????  (And not in a good way)
• Master LOL.  (Again, not really in a good way)
• ...I hate it when speculation/rumors I hate come true.
• (did I say what the heck?)

Will come back and say more maybe once I've watched it again and collected my thoughts. Maybe. In the meantime, I do have to say that Ten was very yummy all throughout, and you can just never go wrong with that. x)

So I've been putting off working on my Festivids vid till.... today. Too much stuff going on. And I got about half of it done already, thee hee. Scratch that. I got about 3/4 done already XD I hope my giftee will like it!

Oh, and rhoboat ? My mom LOVES her Sansaclip! Thanks for the tip! Sister squee'ed about the Nunchuk for her Wii (now we can finally play together) and my bros liked the Complete STTNG Collection we all got for them (gah, they charge you an arm and a leg for those!). Now they just have to figure out who gets to watch it first XD 

Saturday is gonna be kid's Christmas. They are gonna have Xmas today with the parents and Saturday with us. I got my older nephew a Hot Wheels race set. What did my little bro tell me today he got the nephew? A Carrera race set *facepalm* Well, Carrera is electric remote control cars on a race set and I betcha it is gonna be more used by my brothers than the nephew. At least with Hot Wheels he can control the cars himself. AAAAAND it's got a dinosaurs that yo can attach to the race track, so there. Better than Carrera :p

First of all, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Second of all, RIP Fozzy. I drove by my sister's place today to get her Xmas presents and feed the bunnies because she had to work. When I walked into her living room, I found poor Fozzy laying on the side in his cage.... Bonnie was sitting by his side with a sad little face :(  I didn't know if I should call my sis or not and tell her about her bunny, but then I decided I was just gonna pack him into a box and burry him in our backyard. He is now resting peacefully under the cherry tree. I still haven't told my sister as she's still at work, but I know she'll be really upset. At least she didn't have to see the poor bunny. My dad was majorly upset as well. Fozzy was their favorite bunny. I think it was just his time to go. My sister had him  for 3 years and he was already about 3 years when she got him. So it was his time to go.... his timing just sucked. I am not looking forward to having to tell my sister when she gets back from work in about half an hour.

Really Jon....really?

So my mother called my brother about an hour or so ago to see when he was coming to see us before he goes back to his base.

Next month Kevin is being sent to Afghanistan via the United States Marine Corps.

Well he apparently told her he’s not coming and we can go see him at his base in North Carolina. Nevermind the fact we just dropped $200.00 to repair our furnace, that you know…broke on the night it was snowing really bad.

So she’s freaking out and crying and screaming and all this bull shit.

When my oldest brother Andy went to Iraq the first and second time, I had to take care of her. Because Kevin had run off to live in New Jersey and it was me who took care of my mother. Now I have to take care of her this second time where Kevin is going to an even more dangerous place.

So much for not dwelling on the ‘Oh God what if he dies over there?’

I have been gearing up for the inevitable of mom being a cranky annoying…something I won’t say while Kevin is gone, because no doubt she won’t be sleeping at all.

Now I’ll have to deal with this like double, because unless Kevin get’s his head out of his ass she’s thinking, she may never see her son again…and she hasn’t seen Kevin in awhile. I at least saw him over Thanksgiving, but you know…seeing him before he leaves would be nice too.

I can’t deal with this! There is too much drama in my life and it’s too much for me to handle.

If something  happens to Kevin over there, God forbid it please, I am begging you…she will not handle the news at all. I can’t fathom what she might do but I know it won’t be pretty.

I just don’t know anymore. I want this damn war to be over. I want our fucking President to keep his original word that he’d be bringing the men home, not sending more over there.

I realize Kevin signed up for this, and I love my brother…despite the fact we never got a long when we were younger, and we still don’t get a long. But the fact is, he’s still my big brother, and he always will be. I am on the breaking point as it is, trying to stay strong. Because if I lose control of my emotions then it’s going to make things even worse for my mother.

But I won’t be handling it either if something happens to him.

So please…keep my brother in your thoughts and prayers. Maybe something divine will happen and he’ll get slapped up the side of the face and get it in his mind to come see his mother.

Okay, everyone.  I have to give a vid rec here from my vidder friend quirkyoppossum .  Not only is it put together seamlessly (and makes a somewhat AU video that is heartbreaking), but the stuff making it up makes it awesome. 1) It's to a Matthew Thiessen and the Earthquakes song, which is Matt Thiessen of Relient K's solo work that sometimes got mixed in on Relient K EPs.  The song is called "I Hate Christmas Parties," and it's my favourite holiday song because I am a Scrooge who always gets very morose around the holidays (no, I was not traumatized as a kid or anything.  I just don't give a fuck about the holiday or the Christmas story.  My parents are ministers, the story never changes, and I'm easily bored.). 2) It's Jim and Pam oriented.  Now, Sabrina has made fanvids for The Office before--see Lullabye and Awkward Moments on her lj or her youtube profile of the same name.  But, this is the first one I've recced, cos it made me breathless.  My heart breaks so much for Jim in this video. 3) It's quirkyoppossum  and all the vids she makes are amazing. So my birthday was pretty good! I mean getting messages from Greta Salpeter, one of the Steel Train boys, and Tom Price made it pretty amazing. We went to a British Pub for dinner and my new theme song for the next year is 'I Saw Her Standing There' Because I mean the line goes 'Well she was just 17' and I'm hearing this while eating my birthday dinner...celebrating 17 years.
Call me a dork but I got pretty excited about this playing.
We spent the day watching some Fringe. Then when Sabrina came we went to dinner and when we finally came home Sabrina ordered the autographed copy of Wonderland from Forgive Durden for me! Thomas e-mailed me telling me he did in deed receive the order.
Tomorrow I hope to order the Gold Motel EP.

I've been downloading a lot of TV shows. Mostly Doctor Who and Torchwood for vidding purposes.
At the moment I'm downloading more True Blood and soon I'm going to be downloading some 'Secret Diary of a Call Girl' to make a vid I've wanted to do for about a year. I am really excited to make that so I hope you all watch it when I post it.
Other than that I don't have much to say. They say when you turn the age of the day you were born on it's your golden year. So I pray this is some sort of amazing golden year for me.
Here's to many more amazing years with friends. Just a year and 6 months till I can move to England!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so it's been a while since I have pimped my main love on this site. But, I was bored earlier tonight and was just randomly googling images and looked to see if there were any John Simm ones I didn't have yet. And then I came across this beauty of an image from when he was in Spaced with Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jessica Hines (nee Stevenson). He doesn't have any speaking parts in the clip he's in (series 2, episode 1), but when I saw him in it a couple of years ago while watching the programme with my brother, I was like, "OMG IT'S JOHN SIMM OMG OMG OMG OMG." Naturally, when I came across this pic again, I almost died of the hotness. He wears those glasses well. I'll be in my bunk.
